NERINA WILKINSON
DR WILKINSON'S GOAL AND PHYLOSOPHY
As one of South Africa’s small minority of female plastic surgeons,
Dr Wilkinson, strives to provide the highest quality of care to her
patients, whilst being attentive to her patients needs in helping them
realize their aspirations. Her empathy combined with a compassionate
and understanding approach induces not only comfort but, more importantly,
patient confidence, under her treatment. She is uniquely qualified to
connect with you as only another woman can. She brings to her cosmetic
work a perceptive eye with a woman’s light touch.
Her philosophy: “I strive for natural looking results whilst enhancing
a person’s appearance that ultimately can transform their whole
outlook on life. Being part of this metamorphosis is the most important
and pleasurable part of my work”
TRAINING AND SPECIALITY
Dr Wilkinson completed 12 years of medical and
surgical training. Her rigorous training began as a medical student
at the University of Stellenbosch, where she was conferred with her
medical degree in 1991. Her passion for structure, delicate work and

training in 1999 when she became a Fellow of the College of Plastic
Surgeons. She commenced private cosmetic practice in Johannesburg in
2000 and was appointed as a consultant at The Medical University of
SA where she was involved in the training of registrars in female reconstructive
and cosmetic procedures. In 2001, she became an accredited member of
The Association of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons of SA. She acquired
further experience in cosmetic surgery in London and New York in 2002,
training with leading cosmetic surgeons for 3 months.

BSI where she now practices.

such as, breast augmentation, breast lifts, breast reductions, tummy
tucks, liposuction and facial surgery. She also performs the complete
spectrum of minimally invasive non-surgical procedures such as Botox,
